Love my new gun

Love my new gun

I am female, 5’3, 120lbs and had no problem shooting the Texas defender with 45 LC. The recoil was nothing I couldn’t handle and I must say I have fairly scrawny wrists and hands. It did pack a punch but there was no pain from the recoil. I did change out my grip to the rubber extended one which may have helped. I also followed the tips given by bond arms when shooting. Love my new gun. For all the boys complaining about the recoil.. Omg really?? If I can do it you better be able to.

For yers i have been in search of a 410 pistol. This is due to the fact that I have a ranch in Texas on which rattle snakes love to roam. For years my kids and i would carry a 410 single shot rifle which is cumbersome and as a result stayed in the gun cabinet.
The Bond Snake Slayer is the perfect answer. First, it is better made than any other comprable pistol Second, great safty. Third, the over and under gives you advantage over a single shot. If you can not kill the snake with two shots you had better turn tail and run. Fourth, the inter changeable barrels are extensive and gives options.
I find that the 2 1/2 noumber 9 410 shot is perfect for snakes and that the 2 1/2 inch rifled single slug works for wild boar protection.
I have many hand guns; the Bond Derringer is preeminent for close-in work,
