At home or on the range, the Cowboy Defender is a powerful shooter in a compact, classic design. Its 3″ barrel is chambered for .45 Colt and 2.5” .410 shot shells (also available in other calibers).

My Defender is a .44 Special with a 3 inch barrel.  Absolutely one of my favorite handguns!  I took the time to build a load for it with a 200 gr Hornady HP and it is an ideal conceal carry.  I have also used it in SASS side matches, it is a shooter and worth every dollar.

from US 		Right Weapon For The Task At Hand
I own a number of weapons and have an unrestricted cancel carry permit. Most easily concealed weapons are not meant to be used for target practice and are recommended for around 10 yds.
My Cowboy Defender, I believe is the perfect conceal carry weapon on the market. Easily concealed, simple and maximum damage delivered. I purchased the pocket holster, driving holster and Ram Horn grips - their beautiful and add a "special" touch to a special weapon.
I was expecting a "mules" kick when I first fired it but it didn't happen. Fired two boxes of #7 410's, several copper disc/003 buck and several .45 rounds with no problem at all. I'm right handed and found that I could easily get off two quick shots by cocking with my left thumb. Using Bond Arms belt ammo holder, reloading was quick an easy.
Bond Arms has a superior weapon and supporting equipment - congratulations and I thank you.

Just got the Cowboy in 45 Colt and 410 and put some ammo down range. The gun was so easy to handle even with this strong kick, the gun never got out of control. So much fun to shoot and I put a box of #4 shot through this little gem and was looking for more. Solid and as well made as anything on the market. Up close, as it used for, the bad guy has no chance. Thank you Mr.Bond!

Bond guns are a thing of beauty. They look great and sit nicely in the hand. Purchased a .22mag Cowboy Defender and then added a 9mm barrel. The gun is fun to shoot using either barrel with surprisingly little kick on the 9mm. Accuracy aiming takes a bit of trial and error...watch the YouTube video for useful tips. A great little carry concealed gun too!
