Had To Get Another One

I’m a person of few words so forgive me if I don’t go on and on regarding the virtues of the Bond Arms line-up. I’ve carried a Texas Defender for many years settling on the .45 acp and the 410 barrels. I’ve got big mits so the only addition, other than a holster was the extended grips. I am lucky enough to live in Georgia and have firing ranges in my backyard. I Teach local “LEO’s” officer survival courses I’ve developed over the years, (USMC, law enforcement, etc.). I shoot several times a week and practice with the “Bond” as the perfect “back-up”. I’ve never had a “FTF” or other malfunction with this derringer. It is truly a five star firearm.

My neighbor, who I have run through several of my courses, couldn’t stand it anymore and asked if he could buy my Bond. At the time Bond had come out with the ‘Back-up” model which I immediately picked up with the same barrel combinations. The trigger improvements over the older units is dramatic. For those of you who might shy away from the .45 due to perceived control problems there is an easy fix. Rather than using a standard target type load packing 230 grams of projectile weight; (weight of projectile = increased recoil) try Liberty Arms .45 ammo. The round weighs 78 grams but the bullet attains speeds (FPS) exceeding 1,500 out of this short barrel. It jumps to 1,900 FPS with over 600 foot pounds of muzzle energy. It literally explodes inside your target/attacker with the felt recoil very mild. For the 410 go with 000 buck. Bond Arms units have no problems with either round that I have been using for over five years. Take it from an old man (72) you won’t find a more dependable or better built firearm than those coming from my friends at Bond Arms; and no, I don’t work for them or the ammo company I mentioned nor do I charge the LEO’s that I teach that are having trouble during re-qualification. Stay Safe folks and once you make the decision to carry, get enough gun to insure that you’ll go home that night!

Bond Arms = Texas Quality

Unlike some guns that I have owned, my Bond Arms cannons go boom every time I pull the trigger. I have a Cowboy Defender and a Mini. Both are fitted with jumbo grips. I have four barrels to choose from. The quality of these guns is as good or better than any brand on the market and the quality of the service provided by this great company is beyond compare. It doesn’t matter which model you buy because all the grips and barrels are interchangeable and they can be configured any way you like.

My Bond Arms Texas Defender

i recently purchased a texas defender in .45/.410 with a 3 inch barrel and i really did not know what kind of recoil it was going to have and wow what a pleasant surprise it was very manageable,my wife is 5ft7in 125 lbs and she handles it very well and likes it also. it is a excellent pocket gun ,excellent craftsmanship but the only fault i have with it is im 6ft5in with big hands but that is no fault of the of the craftsmanship ... the derringer handles well but as soon as i am able im going to order the extended grips. if you are looking for the best derringer on the market look no farther than bond arms. thanks again mr gordon/ your friend and satisfied customer jim nesmith

New Gun

The gun worked GREAT no problems. The recoil was not as strong as I thought it would have thought it to be. Just shot it with the 410 shells. Looking forward to the second barrel. Thank You. - Mark Morgan

Comfortable Carry

So easy to carry you won’t leave at home. If it’s not comfortable you won’t carry it. As far as 2 shots I’m not going in to a gun fight. I want it for protection.

Dream Come True

As a little girl, I was so in love with the small guns the old cowgirls used to carry in their garter. It was the perfect combination, a lady could still look like a lady, but be well protected as well. My boyfriend bought me my first Bond Arms Derringer. It was exactly what I’d always wanted. The concealment a lady needs, without the bulge in her clothing. (He bought me the tactical bra holster as well.) Everyone said someone as small as me couldn’t handle a .45 Derringer, so I posted this picture for all to see!!! Great fun, not too much kick, reliable, safe, and by far my favorite one to carry (no purse necessary).

Bead Blasted

I Love my Bond Arms .357 Mag Cowboy don’t go anywhere without it.

Beautiful Little Gun

I have the Cowboy Defender in .410/45LC, first time I shot it my finger stung a bit then the second shot I had a lower grip on it and when I shot it flipped out of my hand, fortunately it landed in sand. I shot about half a box of .410 shells after my first two shots with much better results. I bought a second barrel in .357mag/38spl with the coupon code but haven’t had a chance to try it out yet. There is a bit of a learning curve with these little guns, but that’s half the fun! This is one of my favorite guns, I will never part with it.

Perfect Pocket Power

Just got my Snake Slayer and I’m completely impressed! From the solid feel and the obvious attention to detail by the company (I’m an engineer so I tend to notice mechanical flaws although none to be seen on my Snake Slayer) to the conceal ability of such a powerful firearm (.45LC/.410 GA), I am absolutely satisfied with my derringer. This firearm more than fills the void of a pocket backup gun for driving as well as a primary weapon for night time outdoor quick chores. My wife likes it as well so I’m considering getting her one too. Thank you Texas!

Surprised

From all that I had researched I knew these guns were built well and looked great but I was concerned about its shootability. I was presently surprised at how well both a cowboy load of 45lc and a 45lc JHP shot. Not only was the recoil very manageable but both shots were rather accurate. I plan to buy additional barrels. I have already picked up a couple accessories.
