I recently purchased a Century 2000 in early May, 2016. I was initially going to spend less and upgrade my Beretta with some Wilson parts. However, it is fishing weather and we have seen cotton mouths at one of the spots we go to. I started thinking something for snakes would be useful.
I started watching youtube videos and reading rev...

Shot a friends snake slayer a few years ago,and loved it. Money was tight so it took awhile before I Finally got mine.got a deal on a Cowboy with 22 mag barrels, and then purchased the Snake Slayer barrels, which arrived on my birthday. Spent the afternoon shooting, even got my woman to shoot it a couple times. Truly love these little Cannons! Just recently got the rubber grips[arthritis] so the 3 inch 410’s are less brutal, the 2 1/2’s and 45 LC’s are easy enough tho. Accuracy was easy enough to figure out, as a couple watermelon can attest to. The quality of this gun is amazing! Fit and finish are excellent, I am really lovin' this Baby. Looking forward to getting another one soon. Thank you for making such a fun gun to shoot! - Steven Kennedy.
I did get a chance to put a few rounds through my new Bond Arms .357 Mag. The recoil was not as severe as I imagined it might be, was pretty loud with respect to my two Smith 686’s. Accuracy had some to be desired at 10 yrds. but will try some different ammo it may make a different, my groups were in the 12″ range so good enough I guess for close in but prefer a much smaller group. I have installed the extended packmyer grips which should help some.
I went shooting today , … Sunday m 4-24-16 , … indoor range with a bunch of bystanders in behind me , … unknown to me at the time , my shooting was being watched , … Now , … sometimes you can see as well as hear interesting things at the range. Usually after shooting you can see folks as they finish up being self assured , quiet or generally pleased with their performances.
Sometimes you may hear someone expounding how that they may be having an off day or be a bit Rusty. The only rust surrounding my shooting today , may be the Rust necessary to clean out of my onlookers pants , … LOL , … THANK YOU , “BOND ARMS” , had a Great Day shooting , …. .45 colt , Hornady Critical Defence loads , … and some OOO Buckshot in .410 , … My , “Snake Slayer” really aced it , … # 119690 , Holy Cow , … People behind me actually clapped. , …. Gordon and Crew , You guys Rock , … ! ! !
I really like the gun. I fired the 45 long colt. Great gun.
Very pleased with you once again. The BABS leather shell holder arrived today, and I must say that it is very high quality and it is a perfect match for my BMT holster. Thanks again. - Mike J.
I recently purchased a Bond Arms Snake Slayer in 3.5″ barrel .410/.45 LC. I was able to fire it the weekend of 04/16-17-2016. All I can say is WOW! I really like the way it handles and after firing about 30 rounds mixed of .410 and .45 LC, I feel like a kid with a new toy! I’m on a hunting lease in Central Florida and we had an unusually warm and wet winter. The Snake Slayer is just the medicine for a very, very, healthy rattlesnake, coral snake and cottonmouth population that has emerged this year. I also change to 000 buck for any upright snakes I may encounter while traveling the 3 hours to the lease and back. I’m a very, very, happy customer!!
The Bond Arms Derringer is truly an American Express pistol “Don’t leave home without it!” 45/410 really packs a wallop! I got the Snake Slayer and much prefer the extended grip for this caliber as well as the 4″ barrel over the 3.5″. Recoil is quite manageable in the .45 as well as the 2.5″ 410. The 3″ is leaves not doubt that you are shooting a hand canon! I also bought the Hagen overgrip and the regular rubber grips and took advantage of the 1/2 price 2nd barrel offer. Haven’t tried the overgrip yet, as I am enjoying switching out the barrels. The 2.5″ (snubnose) barrel in 38/357 with the regular rubber grip makes a quite concealable weapon! Absolutely a Bond Arms Fan!
I shot my Texas Defender 45 ACP. It was what I thought it would be. A good back up for my Glock 21 45 ACP.I shot 70 rounds, after 10 your hand gets tingling. This weapon is well designed and it has a lot of stopping power.
I have had my conceal carry for a while now , Never leave home without my “Snake Slayer”. When shopping in the community , (we can also openly carry) , I have had complete strangers come up to me and Thank Me For Carrying , very remarkable. They then admire the pistol and make known the interest that my carrying has garnered. This ladies and gentlemen of Bond Arms , … is one very fine tool. Thank You N.M. Hvarre , Wisconsin
Has a lot of stopping power and is flawlessly made, can’t find any problems with it. I like it very well and it is easy to canceal.
