I purchased a sticky holster for my Bond Arms Cowboy Defender, and I love it.
Here at Bond Arms we really care what you think and we love to hear from you! Below are a bunch of recent testimonials from our customers. If you would like to share your story, we'd love to hear from you. Please click here to submit your testimonial. Thank you.
I haven’t ever fired a Bond Arms Derringer, however, I once walked past one in a gun store in Austin, TX and thought it was one of the most elegantly designed firearms I have ever laid eyes upon. Since then, I thought it’d be fun to draw one. This testimony is to the creators and craftsman, because I believe you have created a beautiful pistol. (I based the drawing off of the Century 2000).
A few weeks ago I drug my reluctant wife to a local firearms shop. She had no clue as to what need to be done with purchasing a hand gun in our state and thought there would be and easy escape when we could walk away same day without a new gun. Well the girl was in for a rude awaking!
She, being the “chick” that she is, picked the mini girl and I was the proud owner of my Century 2000. Could we stop there? NO! We both admire the beauty and workmanship of these firearms. Initially, my wife would just sit and start at her Mini. She didn’t want to shoot it because of getting it dirty! One trip to the local range changed all that! After firing 38s and 357s (to what she said ouch) she proclaimed that the wanted every length barrel in every caliber combination. She was amazed she could hit “sh* t!”. After I picked up my Snake Slayer IV, she as jealous and wanted her own 4.25 45/410 barrel. When all the barrels we have ordered are in our possession, we will have 10 barrels between us. Hope she shares with me! God help me, now she is into holsters and grips! She likens changing out all the gun options to an adult version of playing with Barbie dolls! Thanks Mr Bond and crew for manufacturing such an amazing product. And thanks to Glenn Beck for spreading the word and thank you all for standing for our 2nd amendment rights.
My wife had been carrying a semi auto .380 which she found difficult to chamber and generally not user friendly. I suggested a Snake Slayer (because I really wanted one too). Since receiving it she has fired it a bunch and really likes everything about it. especially the sound-BOOM!. Its now always with her where legal where as the .380 was mostly in a drawer. She now feels more secure with a gun that is easy for her to handle. Oh yeah I got one too!
Love it, have the Texas Defender with the 3 inch 38/357 and recently received the 3.5 45/410. Thinking of getting the larger grip to give me a more comfortable grasp of the weapon.
My bond arms hand cannon has become my favorite gun, it works flawlessly and is just darn fun to shoot.
I went to the range today to shoot my “Snake Slayer” with the 4 1/4 in barrel. Extremely pleased ! I shot 45 Colt 250 GRAIN Winchester Super X , Lead flat nosed rounds. The range master was watching several of us shooting. I was going for center mass targeting at 8 yds. to 9 yds. He said , WOW , You did That with a Derringer ? ! I JUST SMILED ! ! ! The BEST Purchase I EVER MADE ! ! !
This weapon is my perfect home defense weapon. For many years I kept a short barrel(legal 16″ mind you) pistol grip .410 Mossburg as my HDW. Very adequate but cumbersome and hard to conceal. My girlfriend hated the idea and fact of it being around when she had her kids there. of course I’d put it in the safe during those times but really defeated the purpose. Had tried a public defender but once again not really that concealable with the kids around. Now I have the century 2000 and can keep it in my pocket. Not once have I heard “whats that in your pocket?” Great carry out on the date too. Have been to the range enough to get acquainted with this hand cannon. I tell you with the right ammo ( Winchester .410 PDF) absolutely devastating. Even got my girlfriend to try it. She likes it but says a little to much recoil for her. My buds kinda choked at “only two shots” til they see the results at 10-15ft. I do carry extra rounds in an old beeper pouch I have, works great and can carry 6-8 assorted shells. The quality is superb. My only complaint, the safety needs a positive lock situation. I mean have not had a problem but the slide action just gives me a uneasy feeling while carrying, probably just my paranoia. Overall a great weapon, well made, accurate, and suited to its purpose. Stopping the bad guy.
Love my snake slayer 4, everything I hoped it would be!
I purchased my Rustic Ranger and the trigger was a little stiff. So took it to a local Gunsmith that I haven’t used before. He was going to do a trigger job. He had a store front and I didn’t get an un easy feeling from him. He promised a two week time frame.
Went back to weeks later and he still wasn’t done. He said give him two more weeks. Went back two weeks later and guess what he closed up shop with no forwarding address. I tried calling him the only thing I got was answering machine or a reply his voice mail bock was full. I tried contacting him for two weeks.
So I went to the police and filed for a stolen gun. Come to find out I wasn’t the only victim. So he finely got arrested and after a long time I did get my gun back. But I went to the gun range and it would only fire on the lower barrel.
So I contacted Bond Arms. Sent my gun to them. And the previous gunsmith had the wrong spring and bent the barrel selector rod. So I cannot express how appreciative I am to Bond Arms for fixing my gun. Even thought it could have been considered the warranty voided.
So if you are hesitate in purchasing a Bond Arms they make a excellent firearm this will not be the only one I will buy. So I have told family and friends to buy a true American made fire arm and excellent customer service. THANKS Bob.
Have been firing the snake slayer in 45 caliber .The extractor screw was getting loose. I gave it a few turns.Good thing i had the right bit. Wonder when i will receive the belt holster and the 357 mag 3in barrel? Carry my baby everywhere, and i don”t even know its there. The more i shoot the better i get! Thank you R.V.Kaye, Wells N.Y.
