The Bond Arms derringer with a 2.5 inch barrel, standard grips, and no trigger guard (or trigger guard removed) will fit into places that no other quality pistol in a major caliber (9mm and up) will fit. For some of us, concealed carry needs to be undetectable concealed carry so that even an observant person will see no telltale signs of a conce...
Bond Arms is celebrating its 30th year in 2025, and owner Gordon Bond was at SHOT Show 2025 to show us the company’s new products for the big anniversary year.
The DT47 is a commemorative edition celebrating Donald Trump as the 45th and 47th president. It features elaborate engraving on both slab sides, and its two barrels are chambered in .45 Long Colt or .410 bore. It is offered with a 4.25-inch barrel and extended grip. There will be rough-finished and polished versions, and a holster with a Presidential seal will be available. Quantities will be limited on this special edition, with an MSRP of $645.
The Cyclops series is the “big boy” caliber line of Bond Arms derringers. New for the line are calibers .45-70 and .50 AE. These all have only one barrel, as opposed to the two barrels on most of Bond’s other models. Instead of a second barrel, there is just solid steel to increase the weight and help tame recoil. They also have stout proprietary B6 polymer extended grips to handle the heavy shock.
Bond is clear that these aren’t intended to be practical guns, but they are fun hand cannons designed to impress your shooting buddy. These are monsters, but Bond has crafted them so well that they are shootable.
MSRP is $699 on the Cyclops models.
The last new derringer is the Rowdy XL Flag Package, a replacement for the Snake Slayer at a more affordable price. The 3.5-inch barrel takes either .45 Long Colt or .410 shotshell. There is an extended B6 grip and a rough finish on the flag-engraved barrel. The package also comes with the popular black leather driving holster.
MSRP is $497.
Gordon reported that the company is close to completing the lever gun they have teased for the last few years, and he anticipates a summer release.
The Bond lever gun uses a standard AR upper and stocks. The pre-production model had a Magpul stock, but other stocks would work. It can adapt to a variety of stocks because the lever loop angle is adjustable.

The lever action is fast, and there is a grip safety to accompany the cross-bolt safety. The lower also has an extended magazine release button so users don’t need to adjust their grip to release a mag.
Finally, Gordon gave us a sneak peek at a suppressed .300 Blackout pistol version of the AR lever action. It featured a custom pistol brace and scope extension for short eye relief optics. This platform should be extremely quiet because the locked breech will not let any sound escape from the action. There should also be no gas in the face. There has been huge interest in this gun. In just two days, the Facebook reel I showcased on this prototype got over 4 million hits. We can’t wait to see the final version.
