This grip makes a great difference for people with large hands. It helps when using 358 ammo. The fit to the gun is right on Didn’t have to do anything only remove one grip and put the other on. Very happy with grip and service.
With names like Roughneck, Rowdy and Grizzly, you just know it’s built tough and durable. Something with a bare-boned finish that doesn’t skimp on construction and ruggedness, while still getting the job done.
Welcome to Bond Arms “Rough Series,” the frill-free derringer built just like their fancier cousins, without the flash. What the Rough series lacks in high polish finish, it more than makes up in budget-friendly prices for shooters knowing what’s important for a gun.
Long known for quality, highly finished double-barrel shooters in derringer configuration, Bond Arms is offering a sand-blasted finish to satisfy budget minded customers. The Rough series still uses the same high-quality materials of the regular line, but with a more subdued finish.
The Rough series includes premium features found in all Bond Arms double-barreled guns, including stainless-steel barrels and frames, cross-bolt safety, retracting firing pins, spring-loaded cam-lock lever and rebounding hammer. Rough series guns use the same grade steel as all production models. The three models available are the Roughneck, Rowdy and Grizzly.
The Roughneck features 2.5" barrels and is available in 9mm, .357/.38, and .45ACP. The sandblasted finish contrasts nicely with the polished barrel flats and features a blade front sight and fixed rear sight. Grip is made of textured rubber for both recoil absorption and gripping ability.Other features include removable trigger guard, rebounding hammer and interchangeable barrels. Smooth lined pocket holsters are recommended for best results. MSRP is $269.
The Rowdy plays big brother to the Roughneck, with its 3″ barrels. Being chambered in .45 Colt and 2.5″ .410 bores shotshells also makes it more powerful. The Rowdy has the same features as the Roughneck. MSRP is $299.
The Grizzly features several upgrades from the Rowdy and Roughneck. Attractive Rosewood grips engraved with grizzly bear artwork, the Bond Arms name and a checkered field, add texture and class. The pistol comes with a matching leather holster with grizzly bear stamping and hammer thong. Its 3″ barrels are chambered in .45 Long Colt, and 2½” .410 bore shotshells. MSRP is $377.
The ROUGH series is right for budget minded customers, or those who enjoy rugged looking gear as tough as they are. I find them attractive while making perfect pocket pistols for back-up. Or last-ditch efforts for when you need it most. Check out BondArms.com for more information.
