(We don’t harm the non-venomous kind.) Carrying a shotgun while completing daily chores and doing improvement work increases the potential for a problem or at least a damaged shotgun. .22 caliber shot shells are not usually effective and putting a .38, .357 or .45 shot shell in my carry guns is out of the question.
