So I recently got my first Bond Arms pistol: the Texas Defender. I ordered the special Pikes Peak 100th Anniversary edition package which was a phenomenal package. But now that I have started to learn about the virtues of the .410 shell...I'm thinking I may need to invest in either a 4.25" barrel to keep in my nightstand, or more appropriat...
Just took my new Snake Slayer out for a day at the range. Decided to only use .410 ammo. My preference is 3” 000 buck(9pellets), 3” #4 shot, and Winchester 3” slugs. Due to the limited rifling, I found the 45 Colt not accurate, at 7 yds. The gun is fun to shoot and manageable. I put the oversize rubber grips on it. I just ordered an extra barrel,(used the 50% coupon), in the 38/357. My experience with Bond Arms has been excellent. Very helpful!! Already building a ”wishlist” for next year. Either the .22/.22mag or 9mm. Unless they come out with a 4.25” .17cal!
